The CamelBak Arête 18 is one of our most versatile backpacks. It’s a double-duty backpack that quickly reverses into an insulated reservoir sleeve that fits inside larger hiking backpacks. When you flip it right side out, you’ll have plenty of room for layers, snacks, essentials, and 1.5-liters of fresh water. Water is supplied by a durable Crux reservoir that is simple to load and easy to refill. The Crux design produces 20% more water per sip. It also includes an ergonomic handle and an easy to use on/off switch. We designed the CamelBak Arête 18 to be both sturdy and lightweight. I purchased this before a 10 day trip to some national parks. I used this on short 3-4 hour hikes and it is the perfect size. The 2L bladder was easy to use/refill. The bag is incredibly light weight and comfortable. You can easily fit a first aid kit, a light jacket, some snacks, and another water bottle in the bag. The material is easy to clean and didn't tear. The price tag was a little higher than I wanted but it suits my needs perfectly!
