I like the overall design and quality of the backpack. It was delivered today, so no proof for long-lasting yet. I put four stars overall rating because of pockets. There is no deep outer pocket for a cell phone. The existing pocket is roomy and covers only 1/2 of the height of my cell phone. So, it could be lost easily. The other thing I need is one more inner pocket. There is one with zipping; it's good. But I need one more. There are two outside pockets with zipping, but I wouldn't say they are super-functional.This is the perfect backpack for me. It is very pretty dressed up but I also run with it. It doesn’t slip forward or fall off of one shoulder. Outer pockets make for quick phone checks and extras. It is good quality with strong zippers. It is small for traveling but no one can snatch it or get to valuables without you knowing. If you line it up against your back with the bottom at your waist, it doesn’t hurt your back or neck. Expensive but so worth itI couldn't be happier with this bag! I've used it for a while now, so I can speak with the confidence that experience brings. My wallet fits snugly and *safely* in the zipped pocket that rests against my back--and is easily accessible to me when I slip just one arm out of the backpack position. My phone fits snugly and safely in the zipped pocket on the front of the bag--easily retrieved but out of sight. My sunglasses fit easily and securely in the open pocket, at the ready should I need them while driving. The small inside zipped pocket is just right for my car fob and other small essentials that I don't want to have lost at the bottom of the bag. And the main bag space is plenty roomy enough for all my bulky odds and ends--even including my husband's hefty sunglasses case when he asks me to carry that for him--and is also securely zippered. I love that I can carry the bag by the little handles if I'm not going far. I love that I can use it as a backpack while shopping or walking, leaving hands free and body aligned. And I love that I can zip those straps together when I want to sling the bag over one shoulder, so I'm not getting tangled in too many straps! Very well designed and well made. A beautiful bag that is a joy to carry.This backpack is just what I wanted. Light weight and well made. Small but holds everything you need. Beautiful red color. I am getting another one.I collect handbags and I'm always on the hunt for something different. Got this one today and couldn't wait to try it out. The style lends itself to security so if you're looking for that, here it is. I tend to waste space in larger bags, this one will keep me in check. I've got all my stuff in it and there's room for more. Lovely leather, comfortable in backpack mode. Wish the handles were an inch more in diameter to wear in the crook of my arm, but I'll live. Considering the price, the hardware is a bit cheesy. Good pockets - three out (two of which are zippered) and two in (one zippered, one very small slit that's suede-ish, I guess for keys...too small for glasses). I've read comments about the back outer pocket being secure and good for a wallet, but that depends on the wallet. Passport and tickets would fit, though (pocket is half the width of the bag). I have a large phone, so can use the back pocket for that. At first sight this bag will seem small, but open it up and try it out. You'll find that you've made a good purchase. (I'll amend my comment if my impression changes after use.)I love the soft buttery leather and the size is perfect I'm tired of caring big hobo bags and this one suits my purpose .I put my i phone 6 in the front pocket along with my bulky keys there's two other outside compartments to put make up other small items you may want to carry Inside the bag I can fit a small hairbrush, my Kindle ,big fat clutch wallet and the color on the go small coloring book in a pouch along with my colored pencilsI can also fit an eyeglass caseIt's atight fit but you can fit a lot more in it than what you would think I have been looking for a purse and havenpurchased many just looking for the right one and this oneis by far my favorite in fact I will probably purchase more in different colors I gave it four stars because I'm not all that impressed with the leather strap I feel I could be a little thickerI have had this item in my wish list for at least a year.. First, the leather of the bag is SENSATIONAL. Soft, supple, shiny, wonderful rich quality. I absolutely love the straps. With my winter coat on I still have extra space between me, the coat, and the purse. It is comfortable on my back. It is lovely. Two things I wish.... a little bit easier to get into the purse. Maybe wider too. I think it's sometimes a lot of work to get into it. I'd also like it bigger. I looked for a larger one... but I chose the quality over the size. Navy color was what I chose. I love it. Rich and a real Navy not with hints of other blues. Perfect color.On one hand, I should have paid more attention to the reviews already posted which said it was small. I was startled when it arrived and I picked it up looking for the rest of it --but there was no more! The measurements listed in product description SOUND like they describe a much larger bag....I think this is because the purse is beautifully styled and it tapers at the top. (I wonder if the handles at the top were included in the height measurement?) I grappled with whether it is too small for my everyday needs, but, I have fallen in love with the look of it --very graceful, not clunky at all. This bag has uncommon style, is good quality and I love the way it opens and the positioning of the backpack straps. I have decided to keep it and spare it the usual beating I give my bags. I plan to edit what I carry, (do I really need to bring all that stuff anyway?), and I may to rotate it in and out of use as a work/everyday purse.
